Standard fees:

Standard rates for staff therapists are $135 per 50 minute session of individual therapy, and $165 per 50 minute session of family or couples therapy. Standard rates for intern therapists are $45 per individual therapy session, and $55 per family or couples therapy session. Please note that fees may vary when using health insurance benefits. With insurance, sessions fees are set by contract with each insurance company.

We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, HSA accounts, and flexible spending accounts.

Insurance options:

Coverage varies greatly, but my services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance provider. Please contact your HMO or health insurance plan to learn more about what your plan covers. Below are some questions that are helpful to ask:

  • Do my insurance benefits include mental health services?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Will I be required to pay a copay?
  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year my plan covers?
  • What is my deductible?
  • Do I need to get approval from my primary care physician?

To utilize out-of-network benefits, clients pay for sessions initially, and then submit information to an insurance company. We are happy to assist with filing of your claim by providing you with a properly coded insurance ready statement.  Many PPO plans will reimburse you for some portion of the cost of your services.  We are also happy to provide you a receipt for your employees pretax flex benefit plan or Health Savings account if applicable. 



Cancellations:

Sessions are by appointment only and your appointment time is reserved for you. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Voice mail is available to take confidential messages at all times. Appointments with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation are charged 50% of the session fee. Missed appointments without cancellation are charged the full session fee.
